Use this adapter to send two different audio signals into a single output. You get the choice of mixed mono (both signals combined on Left and Right channels) or stereo (one channel to Left and one channel to Right). This flexibility allows you the choice to decide how you want to apply EQ, levels, or other proessing to the signal. It's incredibly useful and doesn't lock you in to a specific way of doing it.
It is lightweight, tiny, and requires no power. You can mount it to any standard hot shoe mount, or use the female 1/4-20 socket with any standard mount such as a tripod or light stand.
The input and output jacks are all standard 3.5mm (1/8") for ease of use. We include one coiled cable (3.5mm male to 3.5mm male) to connect this unit to your camera.
We love problem-solving devices like this. It's very straightforward and certainly not revolutionary, but when you need it, nothing else will work.
