You might be a little surprised to see the first 24mm prime in Canon's RF lineup be f/1.8. You might even judge it as "lesser" than its f/1.4 brethren in the EF mount. But don't judge this book by its cover just yet.
This is a suprisingly good lens, and of course is super light and small. It also has 1:2 macro capabilities (5.5" focus distance!), making it incredibly versatile for your artistic vision. Whether you're a street photographer or your interests lean more toward landscapes, this lens is a stalwart companion. Can you believe they were able to put IS in this len? That's outstanding.
You really need to rent it and see for yourself. We think you'll find the benefits in size, weight, and capabilities far outweigh the loss of 2/3 stop of light.
